I shouldn't at all be alarmed at the fact that this thing has a heart-rate sensor, can read facial expression, is always listening (which could posibly hear out buzz-words) even when "turned-off", etc. which could, for all we know, be linked to accounts of the console.

It's not likely they'll re-release console games for the 3DS beyond the NES. That's what the Wii U's eShop is for.

Mmh. Their marketing was and is not nearly as aggressive as it was with the original Wii ( & 3DS to an extent ). Maybe when more games start flowing in, particularly their main franchises.
As for now, they could be doing a whole lot better with spreading the word around about it.
lol With so many already under their belt that could use some attention, can't say I could blame them. Besides, there are many people who would actually like to see these familiar faces dusted off or get to see the light of day. Nintendo has seen this with Earthbound.
And anyway, that statement is not even entirely true. They've already made a few on the 3DS. =/

A drought like this doesn't automatically make it failure. Espcially when it has multi million dollar franchises under it's belt. It was the same thing with the 3DS before Mario 3D Land and Kart and it's later, more aggressive advertising. Like I said, it's too soon to say. :/

That's the thing, they aren't the same games. If you've actually know a thing or two about these franchises, you'd know how different they's gotten over the years. Research at the very least, why don't you. :/

Well, if the Wii U ends up being the weakest of the three this upcoming gen, it isn't even safe to say it will sink. If history has taught us anything, it's that the weakest is likely to be the most successful.
We will just have to wait and see.
